Tony Giles Tony Giles - Managing Director

Tony has over 30 years experience in the Warehousing and Distribution Industry having developed a broad knowledge and gained a wide range of experience with Interstate and General Freight incorporating specialised equipment transfer, Local Courier and Parcel Carriage and Third Party Logistics. Investing in the establishment of the business from a "greenfield" site occurred in 1988. His vast industry knowledge combined with a resourcefulness and ‘hands on approach’ to build the business has overseen the considerable growth of the AWDS Group since its formation. Tony is a member of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Logistics Association of Australia (SA) Incorporated.
Rob Perry Rob Perry FPNA - Finance Manager

Rob joined the AWDS Group in October 1998, in the role of Finance Manager. He is responsible for managing the AWDS Group's Financial Systems and the integration with other Management Systems including risk management, human resources, information technology and management accounting. His background emanates from a long professional accounting career in a wide range of business enterprises including real estate, property development and corporate head office environments of a major Australian listed entity, has assisted in the development of our own systems. Rob is a Fellow Professional National Accountant of the National Institute of Accountants and a Registered Land Agent.
Bill Raymont Bill Raymont – Operations Manager

Having joined the AWDS Group in it’s infancy in 1989, Bill brought a broad comprehension of warehousing and distribution services gained through the previous eight years of service with a nationally recognised company. The knowledge of staff management, co-ordination of resources and the ability to provide logistical services of the highest of standards has been of great benefit to our principals. Bill has been involved in all areas of our company growth and is now regarded as an expert in the management of warehousing and distribution. This expertise gives our principals the advantage they need to provide optimum services to their customers.
Tim Paul Tim Paul – IT Systems Manager

Tim has a great deal of experience in the computer industry, having started in 1977. His wide-ranging background in IT encompasses a variety of business types including Health Insurance, Computer Support (helpdesk), Electrical Retail, Wholesaling and Computer Education. Tim has been in his role as IT Systems Manager since 2005 and has brought a comprehensive knowledge base, in system development, to further the advancements that are being achieved by enhancing the underlying AWDS Warehouse Management System. Tim works closely with our principals to ensure compatible systems are implemented and maintained. His extensive knowledge and experience ensures we preserve our position at the forefront of warehouse and transport management system technology.
Leanne Kelly Leanne Kelly – Administration/Customer Service Manager

Leanne joined the AWDS Group in 2002, after nine years experience with a national corporate rail transport company. Extensive experience in IT provided a large group of employees with direct supervision and system guidance. This experience enabled Leanne to use skills and knowledge gained to improve and develop both the HR and IT divisions of the AWDS Group. She provided support to both the Management Group and presented staff training/development and practice, through the high standards of professional expertise held, to ensure they are able to provide the professional services we offer. Leanne played an active role in developing and implementing the AWDS Group’s innovation and IT technology specifying, recommending and commissioning system enhancements to ensure system integrity and maximise both efficiency and effectiveness. Leanne is now focusing efforts on our Customer Development area.
Lily Polet Lily Polet – Warehouse Manager (Health & Cosmetics)

Lily has been with the AWDS Group since 1992. During this time she has overseen and contributed to growth in our involvement in many business types. Lily manages a team specifically dedicated to service our principals in such industries as Health & Cosmetics, Education and Charity. Lily and her team are experienced in an environment that is fast moving, with a focussed intense pick’n’pack operation meeting standards in volumes and accuracy that make us a clear leader in our industry.
John DeansJohn Deans – Warehouse Supervisor

John is another of our long term employees having been with the AWDS Group since 1994. In the role of Warehouse Supervisor he provides strong support to the Management Group and guidance to our growing team of warehouse professionals. John’s interpersonal skills and relationship building abilities gives our principals a strong sense of belonging within our company.
